 The diamonds are set in Russian style, but the links are open transversely in each lace, giving the diamond a side entrance of light and fragmenting the rectangular balance of the piece. The base of the earring is satin; thus, diamonds are displayed in their maximum splendor and brilliance. The closures are omega type, tempered by hand for greater hardness and tempering; these are also laterally bolted for greater safety of the slopes.
